Sunday is The Day of Rest

Here is 1 of 7 of my new patterns.
I decided to do a weeks worth of dish towels. I am starting
with Sunday so I can sit in my favorite chair and stitch.
That to me is a day of rest. Just sitting back doing what I want...
I am having fun figuring out the whole week. I don't usually
do towels with weekdays on them so this is a new one
for me. But I did enjoy doing Sunday....
A little closer look.....

After I get all seven days done then the pattern
will be available at my Etsy shop. And all 7 will
be sold together.
Stop by again to see Monday.

I love the Spring Chicken quilt by Meme and I have had this patterns for years.
I am finally taking the time to do it. Here is a few of the blocks I have done.

I think I am going for kind of a French Country look.

Laid out on the rocker as I stitch.
This is such a fun quilt to do.
When its fun it seems to go a lot faster too!
I will post pictures when i am done.
So fun I can't stop so it should be done soon.

Dinette Redo!

My Daughter Bethany needed a table and chairs for her new apartment,
but being 19 she had a limited budget.
This is the table and chairs she bought on KSL for cheap!
Then the work started
unscrewing,
sanding,
more sanding,
painting and
recovering the seats.

Theses seats really needed recovering!
ucky!!!
Gross!

I couldn't get this picture to stay turned.
Anyhoooo
  Bethany did her kitchen in
black polka dot. So we redid the chairs to match her dishes.

Don't you just love her Purse Cookie Jar.

She is so excited with the results and could hardly wait
for her Dad to get it delivered to her apartment.
Now she needs some placemats and a darling
wall quilt....So off to sew....
